Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data Genoa collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Genoa Fitness (“Genoa”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@genoafit.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form on this site.

We do not ask for health data, payment details or identification documents through this website, and you should not send them to us by email.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf — a form-handling provider and an email delivery provider — under contracts that limit them to our instructions. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Where a provider stores data outside the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on the appropriate safeguards permitted by data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and pre-order details for as long as needed to allocate the first production run and honour the order in which places were reserved, and no longer than is necessary for that purpose. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@genoafit.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in the European Economic Area you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell subscribers by email where the change is significant.

This page is published in English. Where Genoa provides a translation of any page on this site, the English version prevails in the event of any conflict.
