These terms govern your use of the Genoa website. Genoa is in active development, and this site is an informational and waitlist site rather than a shop.
Agreement
This website is operated by Genoa Fitness (“Genoa”, “we”, “us”). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the version published here is the one that applies.
Genoa is not a medical device
Genoa is a sport-performance product. It is not a medical device, it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on this site or produced by the product is medical advice. Always seek advice from a qualified professional about your health, hydration or training.
Development-stage information
Genoa is in active development. Figures describing sensor performance, biomarker counts and tracking periods on this site are targets benchmarked against published literature, not measured product specifications. Illustrative readouts shown on this site are examples, not real measurements. Specifications, packaging and availability may change before launch.
Waitlist and pre-orders
- Joining the waitlist or registering pre-order interest takes no payment and creates no contract of sale.
- A place on the waitlist is not a guarantee of supply. The first production run is limited, and places are allocated first come, first served after professional athlete orders and pilots are fulfilled.
- Any price we quote is indicative until confirmed in writing. Allocation, price and delivery are agreed in writing before anything is charged.
- You may ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time by emailing us.
Your use of the site
You agree not to misuse the site: no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no automated scraping that burdens the service, no submitting other people’s personal details without their permission, and no unlawful use.
Intellectual property
The Genoa name, logo, product designs, photography, text and page design on this site belong to Genoa or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission. Cited research papers remain the property of their publishers and are linked for reference only.
Links to other sites
Where we link to journals, partners or social platforms, those sites are outside our control and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete for your purposes.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or opportunity arising from your use of this site.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where they live.
